Frankenstein

Attention to detail, these little things go a long way. Cinematography, physics of the men being killed, casting what it was like environmentally during that time; like the blood on the meat street. Not being cheesy but keeping the story good enough to follow. Blending all together is what makes it work. Yes you can tell what’s coming is some cases as it just springs up obviously. This is good cinema. Can’t complain as not may things of quality are released today. Good movie after so many Frankenstein movies and shows. This does well enough to leave a good feeling and stand on its own.

Wonka

Wow. I am surprised. Very good movie. They kept the spirit of the first movie. They did not try to overdo anything or try to recreate or remake anything. It was kept in the spirit of the original. Serious characters that made you smile and laugh. Original story that stood on its own. I can understand the directing of the movie to not make it too long so they sang some parts in that was self explanatory. Watch it, relax and have fun.

Indiana Jones and the Dial of Destiny

Late to the party but needed it to get on streaming and needed my time with it. Enjoyed the movie even with the plot holes that had me shaking my head. It was easy to look beyond that and really enjoy this for what it was and what it is. Glad we still have some action adventure that came out this time and was not forced to adapt to what is on T.V. today but still keep to its roots and traditions. The call backs and characters kept the magic alive and it was a great to get on the experience ride and journey with them. A good modern classic to round out the Journeys of Indy. Yes not as good as the first three but for today and the time of the inceptions of the originals, this was great.
