The acting wasn't great and every character felt like they were rushing their lines, except the girl who played Lilo. She actually did really well. 🧡

might even have rated this higher if the cgi wasn't so obnoxious to look at. the aliens as humans didn't work but they looked awful as aliens too. if the aliens were animated like Space Jam it wouldve been so much better. I don't remember everything about the original animated movie, but this one fixed a lot of issues I had with the first one regarding the villanization of CPS, and how nani never should have had to fulfill a parental role for lilo. So after watching the original, I don’t like this all that much. Elimination of main characters, no goofily disguised aliens, too serious themes for a kids movie, and a major miss in not casting Ving Rhames in the live action Cobra Bubbles role.
