Another first installment in an intended trilogy AND tv series, crazy. There is a lot of stuff I like, especially in the beginning. I loved Schwarzenegger vs. Schwarzenegger, I loved seeing scenes from The Terminator in a new jacket, the war against the machines has never looked so good, Judgment day itself looks great. John Connor becoming evil because of the Terminators was interesting (stupid they gave it away in trailers), but it's too chaotic for me and there is too much action going on instead of focussing on a better story. Also not a fan of Jai Courtney, Jason Clarke as John Connor I'm not sure of but it was okay, Matt(hew??) Smitt needed more screentime, J.K. Simmons was fun. Emilia Clarke wasn't a bad Sarah Connor but it's hard to forget Linda Hamilton.

> "I'm old, not obsolete." Ok hear me out. The concept is cool, and they could've revived the series with the changes made here, BUT... man why did they have to make it feel so generic. The new terminator tech is super cool but you can't base a whole movie off of just cool vfx. The ending is a little confusing too.
