Train Dreams

> "The world needs a hermit in the woods as much as a preacher in the pulpit." This movie is beautiful. It is shot in such an artistic and poetic way that makes you think about life and also appreciate your blessings. This is a good look on loneliness, loss, and exposure to bad and good side of humanity. It is slow, but worth it.

Marty Supreme

> "I have a purpose. If you think that it's some kind of blessing it's not. It means I have an obligation to see a very specific thing through." This is no inspirational sports movie. It's about a hustler/showman that so happens to have an obsessive drive to play ping pong. I love the look and atmosphere that they created with this, but if you hate being anxious, this might not be for you. Timothée acted the hell out of this.

Deadpool

> "Now, I'm about to do to you what Limp Bizkit did to music in the late 90s." This is funny, fun, has great action, quick lines and just looks cool. Whether they intended to or not, this movie changed comic book movies. I think many have grown tired of Ryan Reynolds style since this (especially in the last 2 years with hollywood drama), but at the time this movie felt fresh and still holds up.

Firewall

> "Now you know what it feels like to lose what you love." So funny seeing Harrison Ford as a network tech guru and even though it follows the blueprint for most hostage movies, but it's still oddly entertaining. Not to mention the son in this was a hostage in the movie Hostage just 1 year before!

> "Why do you make it so hard for me to flirt with you?" Even for Nicholas Sparks this is very predictable and all the clichés you can think about happen in it.
