I didn't hate it this movie as much as the first times. I thought of giving 3 stars but since I don't really look forward to rewatch this movie (I have problems with skipping a movie in a franchise) and I feel rather neutral than good, I guess 2,5 stars is fair. I liked some parts about Marcus, it's an interesting character to me, but he takes so much screentime that should have been given to Kyle Reese. I get that this was supposed to be the first installment of a trilogy (I feel like they say that with every Terminator movie) and I guess Kyle would have gotten more of the spotlight in the sequels. I feel like this movie would have been better if it was set in the days leading up to sending Kyle back to the '80s, it would have been more interesting to see to me and would have showed the relationship between Kyle and John better. I also don't like Christian Bale too much as John Connor and I was never a big fan of Sam Worthington. Anton Yelchin is great but should have had more screentime and I won't talk about CGI Schwarzenegger but a Terminator movie without him isn't right. Also also I forgot Helena Bonham Carter and Bryce Dallas Howard were in this.

I think this is the weakest Terminator film it's watchable but not as good as the rest and doesn't really fit.
