maybe this would be more fun if I wasn't so utterly burned out by this whole franchise. this will be my last furious movie, I just can't do it anymore. has nothing to do with paul walker not being in this one, it's just so dumb and unbelievable. not that the others were smarter or more realistic, but this lacked charm and fun and it needed concentration that i no longer am able to give this franchise. im sooo done. can't believe theres 2 more and they're making 3(?) more. STOP. 😵‍💫 THE WAY THIS BURNED ME OUT SO MUCH I'VE BARELY WATCHED MOVIES FOR A MONTH😭

I really like this franchise and I love the crazy over-the-top action like the vault scene in Fast Five and them going to fricking space in F9 but this one, nukes and all that, felt a bit too serious over-the-top. I had trouble following the story, Dom agrees to work with Cipher, betraying his "family" but why does he agree? He was surprised to know he had a kid, he seemed to be even surprised his fling from 2 movies ago was on that plane. It's very frustrating to see Dom putting everyone's life in danger after 7 movies of FaMiLy. Also Owen just being out of prison all of a sudden could have done with some backstory. I loved some scenes, The Rock in prison was fun and Deckard with the baby was super cute. But overall way too much action and too little story, even for a F&F movie. I consider this my least favourite one. Luckily up next is Hobbs & Shaw which I love, F9 which I had a lot of fun with in cinemas and Fast X which I haven't seen yet!

Meh. It's getting more and more ridiculous. But I should be honest that as a movie it's quite entertaining. So... yeah.

Once you get passed the things that make your eyes roll like Tyrese screaming all the time and Dwayne's one-liners and Vin's endless reference to family, this movie has some really cool scenes. I found myself laughing at ridiculous moments to actually curious what was going to happen next.
