this movie kinda sucks obviously but you'd assume that going into it and I think it's a film that needed to be made considering how much production hell it went through with the rights to the book being tossed back and forth between evil walt disney, new line cinema and warned bros. should've come out in the 90s with the jurrasic park dinosaur hype, (and had the movie go a lil bit deeper into the dinosaur aspect) but what can you do... im glad it was made. Heh... It's pretty fun...

Oh boy this was utter trash. I know it doesn't have to be on par with <i>Tarkovsky</i>'s masterpieces but even compared to other shark movies (e.g. <i>Deep Blue Sea</i>), it's nothing but lackluster. The movie tried everything to be a tear-jerker but who's gonna cry for the death of a character that hasn't been on screen for more than 5 minutes? They really thought they did something by including <i>Ruby Rose</i> in the background of every single shot and ending the movie with the word "Fin"... <b>× Best Line:</b> - [nothing. The dialogues were all devastatingly shitty.]

<blockquote>"There's a monster outside and it's watching us."</blockquote> The book that this is based on his a horror story. It has tense moments and can actually feel scary at times. So when I saw this and it was more of a comedy I was a little disappointed. That being said, they did pretty good with that they had.

Really bad movie, the only good thing about this movie is that it was so bad that it was funny! I really don't get how this was made with Jason Statham as a pulling card, he needs to read the script, including actors, they did there best with what they were given. The editing was not good so it played with the flow of the movie. All i can say is Pipin rules!!
