my hands were shaking a bit in the theatre like that girl can really scream, huh?
good film, looking forward to what this guy makes further and a horror icon in the making. this actress with her fantastic fascial skills will go far, it was the movies make it or break it that she was able to carry the role like that.
I could critique the other actors and some writing for my half star but I don't really want to. just mentioning it here so I'm reminded when future me reads this again. I had a great time seeing this in the cinema, it has my favourite horror elements, the stuff that actually scares me: moving in silence and doing crazy things with your face. being put into bears pov is horrifying even outside of the horror that is what is happening to her. just an outright uncomfortable movie through and through. and funny at times.

Obsession was a wonderful movie. I've felt a lot of different emotions such as fear, sadness, embarrassement, laughter, empathy, rage. The purpose of the movie was really profound. The actors were very talented !
I have to reflect on my own life because I relate a lot to Bear even though he's very selfish and shy. It made me realize I need to respect myself and express my feelings even if it's uncomfortable.
The YT Filmmakers did that again... And apart from Inde's performance, Michael Johnston's career-defining performance from first frame to the final showcases his incredible range!
I think i just saw one of the best horror movies that i'll never forget ...
a verry good story, way from all regular boring horror stories, the obsesssion topic is a verry sensitive one, however we prefer not to go deep on it looking just at the bright side, may be cuz the dark one scares us, so thanks to "Obsession" for letting us know what it looks like...
Adorable!
Edit: Coming back to this review to up my score. I can't stop thinking about this movie.
This movie Fucked. Me. Up.
I think it also finally cured me of my long-standing attraction to crazy women. (Who am I kidding)
I don't think I've ever been so god damned stressed watching a movie in my entire life. The tension throughout is insane.
I never want to see it again, Jesus Christ. Inde Navarrette is perfection in this role.
