Night Always Comes

For anyone who enjoyed this film (well, enjoyed is maybe not the right word, given how bleak it is), the book was written by Willy Vlautin - and you should check out his other books. At least two others have been made into films. He was also the lead singer from the band, Richmond Fontaine.

Sixth! This was Cineworld’s secret screening tonight. The one genre I didn’t want, but I enjoyed watching folks walk out at the start 😂 it was an enjoyable enough watch.

Quadrophenia

I have watched this film loads in the last 30 years, but have only just noticed this continuity error. Quadrophonia was set in 1964, and the double Who album you can see in the background wasn’t released until 1974. And separately, A Quick One was 1966 and The Who Sell Out was 1967! Time-travelling Who!
