this was so fast paced and yet so long that i genuinely thought the movie was about to end like 4 times. i enjoyed watching it, not sure I liked it, and definitely didn't think it deserves as much praise as it does. look im no nolan fan. but it's alright. the writing is even cheesier in this one, but it maybe works better because of that? joker is iconic, although his performance isn't as special as i thought it would be. i don't know why rachel suddenly switched actresses and we weren't supposed to notice. the politics of this movie is absurd and maybe even offensive but im not 15 anymore so I don't care. but I also think this sort of movie would resonate with me better and impress me more if I was 15. certainly better than the mcu but is that really anything to judge superhero movies by? idk man. at least I've watched it now. it's been one of those movies I've always felt I've had to watched but put off for some reason (probably cuz nolan). I wasn't bored !! also side not but kinda crazy how many quotes from this I've said my entire life and not known was from this very movie. like it's an incredibly quotable movie. had to be there, I guess

After watching it so many times, some parts were less interesting since I knew them by heart. Overall though, it's an amazing movie, love the music and the IMAX scenes look amazing, even at home.
