This is the first episode where I don't feel any sympathy for the guy, however, I still don't think the death penalty is something that should be used as punishment. Even IF this guy deserves to die, there are too many people who don't deserve death who are killed because of it. He did get me in the beginning though, I really believed that he was telling the truth about what happened. But the evidence just piled on and on to show that it was all intentional and that he was lying about what happened to make himself look better. I think what's funny is at the end when he said he couldn't hate someone for such a long time, but her son just said that he thought him getting the death penalty is appropriate and just, those aren't hateful words and he didn't say them in a hateful way either. He projected hatred onto what he said, I think so that he could continue making himself seem like someone deserving of sympathy.

That's what I came here to say - finally a case where they got it right.
