[7.5/10] The cast here is impeccable, and I like the short as a characteristically demented take on the “Be careful what you wish for” story. There’s a trademark *The Boys* mix of the wholesome and raunchy when a little girl wants to reconcile her parents by having them beat up a supervillain. Something about young Maya convincing an aging and grouchy hammers-for-hands baddie to challenge her parents in order to rekindle their love is kind of adorable. And the fact that when Maya sees the carnage and hears the carnal aftermath of what she’s done, she’s ready for her parents to go ahead and get divorced, is a typically bleak-yet-amusing punchline to the whole thing. The animation is also nice here, using some of the superhero style that's seen on *Young Justice* and other shows in the same vein that I tend to like. Overall, another fun use of *The Boys*’ sandbox to tell a smaller story.
