"Turned up to eleven" is the colloquial way of saying the intensity of something has been pushed past its limits, right? Well… This episode cranked the hyper-exaggerated, manga-style acting to about twenty-one. I thought it was _a bit_ much.
Aside from that, the pacing was quite a bit slower than most of the previous episodes. We, as the audience, really only need to see a certain amount of "sad Kotoko" or "depressed Kotoko"—a quota which was already exhausted halfway through the runtime. I just wish the typical _shoujo_ heroine wasn't so helpless to sort out (or even communicate!) her own feelings.
