A messy movie that, despite being an improvement over the last installment, still falls short. It offers a few enjoyable moments here and there, but lacks substance in both plot and entertainment. Knull is not a threat, there's no real threat in the name of the villain here. Shorter run-time helps this movie before it could stretch to the point of no saving. Throws away the whole point of the Venom movies—symbiote/host compatibility. This key theme is sacrificed just to stage an explosive climax. What was the point then?

I actually really enjoyed this. Not afraid to be silly at all but also some amazing sci-fi action. Awesome to see all the different symbiotes take form. Weak on story, but that’s to be expected at this point. I’m just glad it wasn’t anything like <i>Let There Be Carnage</i>. This story actually held meaning to the franchise rather than being an excuse to introduce a popular character.

I think the movie was alright, but the weakest of all three. Many great scenes, especially towards the end, but in all a little weirdly put together (esp the begin was so??) and I didnt like the overall atmosphere. I feel like Eddie and Venoms relationship didn't evolve after Carnage - what I expected, or better said hoped - and they got even less screen time. Instead we saw a weird family, boring militiary guy and the thunder girl. To me some of the weakest side characters compared to the other movies. I liked the villian and his monsters, and enjoyed the funny scenes. I watch the other two movies sometimes, not so sure if I would rewatch this one.
