Props to the humor and wackiness. This lacks in the story and motivation, however. Unclear villains make it hard to take the heroes’ side.

Not as good as the first movie. It's still fun, but it feels more like a standard action film. Most of the charm from the original is gone. The main characters even feel like different people. The plot is also quite messy.

The first half is decent, but the scene with the hacking kids was so terrible I had to turn it off. The idea that they needed to remotely take over the laptop screen and manually scroll through the photos, when they know exactly what time it was taken, is an insult to my intelligence.

> "You often confess to capital murder?" This movie feels so different from the first one. As a sequel I was a little thrown off by that, but as it's own movie it is good (not great). I missed the close hand to hand combat of the first movie and more serious tone. This one feels more like they want a franchise out of it and the worst part of all: It doesn't feel like a Gavin O'Connor movie. There is one scene where they black out the fight and you don't even see it!

i did have lower expectations for this since the first was very good, but the second was just plain terrible. i just can't understand how ca one make such a great first movie and then make something like this. i wouldn't even know where to start describing this movie, that's how bad it was. it's just terrible, nothing to do with the first one.
