A fast-paced Michael Bay film like you'd expect. The start of the intense heist reminded me of Die Hard, especially Jake Gyllenhaal reminded me of Hans Gruber. Followed by an exciting chase, somewhat reminding me of Speed. Really enjoyed it for the most part, towards the end the pace goes down and I didn't care much for the emotional cards they played. I guess the ending as a whole was a bit unsatisfying but I still got a good 2 hours of fun, I'd recommend it if you don't mind a little silly Bay movie.

Comes with its flaws but it's an out-and-out Michael Bay action movie. You'll love Jake's acting, camerawork, and the action sequences obviously because of the Bay factor. These factors can work for some people to just have adrenaline rushing fun for 2h15mins or maybe not. You should just avoid this movie if you know that these things ain't gonna make up for what you need in a movie.

cinematography and editing are ugly and nauseating

&gt;"This is cashmere!" For as much crap as Michael Bay gets, he knows how to film action. This feels like a modernized 90's action flick and I mean that in the best way possible. Could it have been shorter and the story be a little tighter? Absolutely. Jake Gyllenhaal seemed to have a lot of fun with this and brings his A-game, which is what bumps up the movie for me.
