Moral of the story: just die man

almost everyone im friends with also gave this 3 1/2 so I feel very unoriginal in my take but - whatever! this was so much fun. its definitely a deserved entry in the franchise - and doesn't make itself too 20s works best when it's goofy and unserious, but I understand the need for some deep emotional storylines especially this late in a franchise. the MRI death is so overthetop and brings it back to what the franchise is all about. same with the ending. my favourite part of this movie is definitely making "creepy mortician" into a character with backstory and stakes in the game. he's next, now, right? so maybe he'll even get his own movie?! showed my radiographer husband the MRI death scene and he kept rolling his eyes and pointing out how ridiculous it is, but that makes me just enjoy it more. those unreasonable anxieties that people carry is exactly what makes it so fun. What a great addition to the franchise! Amazing opening, surprised by the extra gory deaths, and I love that this movie breaths fresh air in this franchise. Happy we finally got some closure on FD2. Also Tony Todd is a legend. I would love a FD7 and I wouldn't mind it being set in the '60s orso.

A lot more character development than these films usually have, leading to much more interesting characters. Still quite a bit of weak acting although it feels a step above the rest. I hated the ending. It felt lazy. I get what they want to accomplish through it. It should’ve been gone about in a better, more drawn out way. Despite all the negativity, I did enjoy it quite a bit.

nossa o hype todo era PRA ISSO? nem vou me aprofundar muito em coisas que me deixaram bem triste durante o filme, mas provavelmente a culpa foi minha por esperar muito (mas o marketing prometeu muito tambem). infelizmente pra mim nem o saudosismo salvou a trama, poderia ter sido mais babado, mas né acontece. se a wendy tivesse esse livro ela faria muito mais.

Not to say I want one every year, but as long as they can make the deaths creative I will always give it a chance. The story in this one is a pretty fun premise, even if some characters are a little over the top.

I really only watched this to finish the trilogy, but more to see Tony Todd, and hear his ab-libbed comment "life is precious, enjoy every single second, you never know when... Good Luck" RIP, glad He got to add His words to the story 😪

it was really good movie .. acting and the story the boy and the piano from the first scene were very satisfying 🤣😁 overall the movie was good and entertaining i laughed at the final scene 🤣 . rip tony todd
