tried watching this twice now with daughter and found it so hard to pay my full attention. wanted to watch it after I bought her a minion chocolate advent calendar, and id never seen any of the minion movies. but alas !!! the minions are by far the worst thing about this movie. i cannot for the life of me figure out why boomers because so obsessed with them ?? my mother (she's 50) loves these movies and i dont really see why, compared to other animated movies with way cuter and funnier sidekicks ?? i liked gru and the girls. the plot was too similar to megamind, but idk which came first (i'm not too lazy to check but i did and they're both released in 2010, so god knows). I actually think I prefer megamind despite uglier animation
