Taron's worst performance. He was overdoing it the whole time. Charlize was just there for the money. Movie is meh at best

The Nice Guys

One of the best comedies and buddy movies I've watched lately. The chemistry between the cast members is off the charts. Loved it!

Cold Storage

Enjoyed it more than I expected. Plot and writing was consistent, duration is PERFECT, it had a beginning, mid and end-section which is missing in a lot of today's movies (especially high budget blockbisters) and the protagonists are both very likeable and have good chemistry. Good one :)

The Housemaid

Not a bad movie per se, but many moments felt dumb. The writing sometimes seemed like something a high school girl would write while being butthurt 'cos a guy didn't like her. Amanda did a good job acting, but Sydney and the dudes (Andrew and the sexy gardener dude) were horrible. Cece actress was very good. All in all could've been written better (or at least with fewer clichés), and should've been a 1:40hr movie, not two hours. Also, the whole "men bad, women strong" shtick is getting old...
