@Vagrant AI Yes, Kelly is non-binary, I am too and like a lot of non-binary people I also identify as trans. Whether or not Kelly does too idk, but it's possible to be both. I chose to say trans rights bcos it's more inclusive of binary trans people as well, since we can all face a lot of the same struggles, and bcos I felt it's safe to assume that the show's support of non-binary people would extend to other trans people too.
It laugh crying tears for me, Lois and Hal were perfection, while, Malcolm, Leah, and Tristan had this nice little clique that meshed perfectly with the rest! I was in tears during the video, no way around it...
ngl, when that giant bag of glitter (and Francis too!) fell on Hal I was terrified!!! And then they didn't show if he was okay until almost that whole exploding glitter bit was over!?!? I had flashbacks to every terrible finale and reboot where they kill off a major character, so yeah, I didn't get to enjoy that as much as they probably intended. But other than that, I have no complaints. Loved seeing the Krelboynes and Francis's friends from military school and Gretchen again! I think the only thing that felt off to me was Jamie, like obviously we only saw him as a toddler before, but his character just felt weird to me, maybe they didn't give him enough depth, but probably that's a consequence of only doing 4 episodes. I would obviously watch so much more of this is they made it though! But if not, I'm really glad we got this special, it's so good to get to see these characters again and see where their lives have taken them. And I loved Malcolm and Lois's confrontation, a perfect blend of dysfunctionality and honesty, just like the original! And I also loved Kelly's part of Hal's video (which by the end of it felt weirdly like a memorial video??). MITM said trans rights!!!! But yeah, this was really good, I'll definitely be rewatching alongside the original seasons 💖💖💖💖💖
