I am very, very late to this party 🤣.
My work senpai was telling me I MUST WATCH Kimetsu no Yaiba like NOW so that I can get as excited as him to watch the first of the trilogy movies at the cinema in September (in London, it's already out in the cinema in JP).
I was like 😮💨😒🙄, I did attempt to read this manga during COVID but couldn't get in to it. But he told me to watch the anime and persevere as it gets really good... His positivity, perseverance and general demeanor is like Tanjiro tbh. 😂
So 14 days ago I started the marathon to keep my senpai happy, and fuck me I've just completed all 5 seasons and yes, it's AWESOME, I feel restless and I need more!!!! I don't even know who my favourite character is maybe Tengen? 😍 Rengoku? Senami? Inosuke? WOW I love it now. I can see why a nation got COMPLETELY OBSESSED during COVID and branded everything from trains to stores in Kimetsu no Yaiba imagery. I will appreciate it more next time I go back to Japan in October.
In the meantime roll on September 12th!!!!! Arghhhhhhhhhhhhhh I'm so excited I need to pre-book my cinema tickets!!!!
