[7.5/10] I enjoyed the stand-off between Mo and Dawn a lot. They did a good job at showing the two negotiating and one-upping each other in a way that had both comedy and excitement, but they also made it a character/pathos thing at the right moments. It’s nice to see Dawn in particular get a bit more shading and mark her own territory on the show as something other than just Mo’s love interest. I also liked the B-story with Blair and Keith. For one thing, it complicates our knowledge of Keith a little bit, but it also shows Blair being willing to go to the dark side a little. He’s still not willing to be deceitful, but when he tries to do things the right way, and finds out that the guy he’s trying to give a second chance is a homophobe, he’s willing to fight dirty. I don’t know how realistic it is for a whitebread kid in 1986, but it’s still a nice story. The only bit in the episode I didn’t really like was Paul Rust as the movie biographer. For one thing, it was just a little too cute with the *Wall Street* and *Working Girl* references. And for another, it gilded the lily a bit too much on the Mo/Dawn relationship. Otherwise, a nice second outing for the show.
