Why is Alex not on the poll? This show was all Lex. Of course showcasing Kara’s talents as an actress.
He has taken the Lex character and owned it. He sure is having fun with this. I enjoyed every minute of the brain washing. It was sublime to see his master plan roll into motion and take flight.
This is going to be so interesting.
Now what did he put on her ear lobes and also the blood he transfused into her, is there a side effect? We all know there is no way he will let her walk free without some way to control her.

I'm not sure if the references were intended but I saw Putin in Lex. He was manipulative and full of lies, making America look like the enemy to reach his selfish goals. Like the Red Daughter, the Russian population and even many left-wing people in the West buy into the propaganda. As in the episode, the Russians may also be jealous of all the wealth the Americans possess, which may contribute to their anger and make it easier to accept the idea of the Western people being almost a different species whose freedom and comfort make them faithless, full of lust leading to gay rights and so on. It's a recurring theme on Russian TV controlled by the Kremlin.
Politics aside, it was entertaining to watch Melissa speak Russian and do the accent. Probably even more so because I know the language too.
