i meant to write a review when i finished it but i guess i forgot. so here we are genuinely one of the most interesting shows ive ever seen. so disgusting and visceral, in both plot and visuals. will and hannibals relationship is definitley the highlight of this show for me and many other (if not all) fannibals. (also this fandom name is so stupid i love it dearly). the whole thing is like watching a chess game with extremeley high stakes. hannibal and wills relationship with one another is so disturbing and also comforting at the same time? the intense devotion they hold for one another without ever muttering an i love you to eachother....good shit. the blueprint for toxic yaoi, if you will. this review wouldnt be complete unless i talked about side characters who i loved dearly aswell: abbigail hobbs' story was so deeply tragic and the fact that she haunted the narrative while still being alive...the irony in the fact that will thought of her as family while she feared him....her entire story was so tragic. i felt so awful for her. i think she was really well written but it was devistating for her to go and come back so often. freddie lounds is so interesting and despite the fact that people hate her I think she was more interesting than the main characters at times. i want to know more about her. the fact that she managed to intimatley document what was going on without actually being harmed also makes me like her character more. shes resilient. she was definitley one of my favs. all in all really good series. I could ramble more about other characters in the series because I genuinley love all of them so much (except for mason) and i dont think any of them were poorly written. i wish chiyoh had more characterization outside of being like "stand in sister for hannibal" because it felt like she got introduced solely as a plot device and i thought she was really interesting!! i wanted to see more of her!! but outside of that i think all of the characters were intersting and well written and they all fit into the overall narrative in an interesting way....hannibal u will always be famous

It's so saddening, that this had to end.Are we willing to let Hannibal die , or stick it to big faceless corporations by bringing it back more glorious than ever ?

Disappointing. I was excited to finally watch this because of Mads and his supporting cast, but the writing spun out into pure fantasy by episode 3. What a waste of exceptional talent.

I don't have much to add that hasn't been added before, but I do appreciate the diversity of Hannibal, and the fact hat gay characters can be present and leading in a show, even a gay relationship, where 1) the point isn't that they're gay 2) one of them doesn't die and 3) there's no emotional gripping coming out story. It's just treated like it would had Will been a woman, which is what is most realistic anyways.
