7.7/10. Very enjoyable. The byzantine rules and sort of Arthurian honor between heroes and villains with the guild is a solid source of comedy, as is the ever-reliable Dr. Orpheus, so an episode that focused on both had a lot to offer. Having arch villain auditions was appropriately silly (the banter between "The Triad" was amusing) as was Doc Venture's jealousy. The boys freaking out over Triana had its moments (Brock performing a reading of an Edwardian play for one), but the guild/Orpheus stuff was where the comedy lay.
The Monarch's maze with the prostitute was just bizarre. I guess he's projecting his anger at Dr. Girlfriend (who had an amusing cameo here), but it was mostly pure insanity. Maybe it was a reference to *Red Dragon* or something beyond the basic Greek myth referenced? Still, the henchman trying their hand at second-hand arching and failing miserably was amusing too. Overall, a lot of good elements, even the connection between them and pacing was a bit off.
