Euphoria

Euphoria mistakes visual intensity for narrative depth, which is a common error but still an error. Sam Levinson clearly loves the image. I am less certain he has anything to say beyond it. The cast is talented, particularly Zendaya, who deserves a better-structured script around her. I stopped watching after the second season when I realized I had learned nothing about any of these people.
