FROM achieves something most mystery series fail at: it sustains genuine dread without overexplaining itself. The town functions as both setting and antagonist, which reminded me structurally of Hitchcock's better location work. I watched the first two seasons in three days, which I mention not as praise for the pacing but as a warning about sleep deprivation.
