The Boys

The Boys commits to its satirical premise in ways that most genre television refuses to. Where another show might soften the edges, this one sharpens them. Karl Urban manages to be both repellent and sympathetic within a single scene. It is not comfortable viewing, nor should it be. The political allegory hits harder the longer you sit with it.
