The Super Mario Galaxy Movie

Better than it had any right to be. The animation is genuinely impressive and the film treats the source material with real affection rather than just licensing a recognizable name. Watched this on a flight to Tokyo and found myself more engaged than I expected. The story is coherent and the craft is evident throughout.
