Felt like Corpo: The Movie. Idk the entire thing just felt disingenuous.

Initially I was certain this would suck, then I was surprised by the good reviews and now I feel like I watched a good movie, nothing great either but I would have been very pleasantly surprised if I saw this before I heard the positive reviews. I thought they did a great job at making it interesting, even when the race was still virtual. I think it was a bit long but the ending was very enjoyable. Not something I'd rewatch a lot but happy I saw it.

The first looks and trailer kinda made this movie look low on production value to me, but oh boy was i so wrong. This movie is a high production with no sloppy visual effects or anything. Gran Turismo is a movie by the people who love racing, for the people who love racing. There's so much heart put into this movie while making, and it clearly shows. The adrenaline rushing action sequences are cherry on top.

Well, I didn't have many expectations, but it turned out to be entertained.

This was actually better than I gave it credit for. I held back from watching it because of the mixed reviews but coming to see it was a typical feel good movie and it feels good. Despite its predictability, it handled those two pretty well in my opinion.. I would watch it again.
