watched this with my 2 (almost 3) year old daughter since she's been doing a dumbo jigsaw puzzle almost daily and asked me to pretty please watch it. sure enough, she sat through the whole movie. not sure exactly how child-friendly it is for toddlers that young, especially with the alcohol induced sequences that can be a bit scary, but it is a really good film and she didn't seem too disturbed. she was mostly just incredibly sad whenever the mom or dumbo were experiencing sadness and hate, which is honestly half the movie. incredibly disturbing and upsetting to watch as an adult too, these guys really do hate this baby elephant! my child didn't pick up on how evil those clowns were (only how funny their gags were) - while I was just getting more and more upset about dumbo stuck in the fire. still, a great movie! 🤍 <b>part of:</b> <a href="https://boxd.it/f8EAq">cannes palme d'or winners</a><i> </i> <a href="https://boxd.it/2JIM">1001 movies to see before you die </a> <a href="https://boxd.it/lHyYg">disney (re)watched </a>

Dumbo trips over his ears the way my puppy trips over his emotional support blanket 🥹 I wish this movie was more about breaking his Mum outta prison, than... well whatever this is.
