After Kaji, a mutual friend and actor, passed away, the director Kinoshita (Hiroshi Yamamoto), the scriptwriter Tsuboi (Keishi Nagatsuka), and the actor Funaki (Takeshi Yamamoto) leave Tokyo to visit Kaji’s hometown.
