Mike Tyson said something on the lines of - "No, man! Don't do that, stop this shit" and i second that but in regards to the movie.
Liger is a sports film which isn't really a sports film but rather a romance drama with the most weird, illogical and childish romance which makes you wonder what drugs was Puri Jagannadh on when he came up with this story.
It starts on a good note and just keeps getting dumber with each passing minute. Bizarre editing also didn't help in this mess of a movie.
Vijay Deverakonda's stammering was just straight up mockery after a few minutes but he has an engaging screen presence which is the only saving grace of this movie.
Ramya Krishnan was so embarrassingly loud and irritating. In her mind she was shooting for a modern Baahubali reboot and climbed back into that role of hers.
This movie isn't boring at any point though, but it gets pretty stupid in the second half and ends with one of the most stupid endings you'll ever see in your life. It just ends without any conclusion.
There is Mike Tyson in the climax for no reason, that's a random sub plot all of a sudden which serves no purpose and ends the movie with itself, crappy writing at its peak here.
The only positives here are good action choreography, some good moments full of heroism and cockiness, and Vijay's screen presence. But all these positives are outnumbered by the negatives in this film.
