One of the most painfully dull movies I’ve ever sat through. By the halfway mark, I was already struggling to stay awake and seriously considered turning it off multiple times. Somehow, I endured this until the end. With such a massive budget, the least they could do is make it somewhat entertaining. I wasn’t expecting deep storytelling, just something to hold my attention, yet this film fails at everything. As for MBB, her performance was downright unbearable. Every line she delivered dripped with cringe, though the terrible writing certainly didn’t help. Sure, it's nothing new, and the character backstories are pretty weak, but I had fun with it, and I thought the retro-futuristic setting was awesome. I'd probably watch it again.

While enjoyable, the story remains simple and predictable, which limits its emotional and narrative impact. Everything becomes apparent quite quickly. As for the cast, Giancarlo Esposito’s performance is particularly disappointing—his few live-action scenes feel stiff. Millie Bobby Brown and Chris Pratt deliver strong performances. Millie manages to bring emotion to her role, while Chris Pratt, in a character similar to the ones he plays in Marvel, suffers from a sense of repetition, having portrayed this type of role multiple times. Their duo works well and helps engage the audience in the story, despite its simplicity. The voice cast for the robots is very well done, adding a pleasant and lively touch to these mechanical characters. It's ok, but i don't understand for what this was so expensive to producing.... I had more high expectations about it

I liked it actually, not amazing or anything but enjoyable for a Netflix film I consider this high praise
