Jugjugg Jeeyo is the best family dramedy in the last *i don't even remember how many* few years.
This movie has delivered what the trailer promised.
This is Raj Mehta's next full length directorial feature after Good Newzz and the expectations from him were to deliver a good entertainer.
Jugjugg Jeeyo has emotions, comedy, heartbreaks, great music, everything you'd need in a family drama.
It takes the sensitive concept of marriage & divorce in a humorous way, also while keeping it intense and realistic so that it connects to the audience.
While Varun and Kiara have done a good job, and Neetu Kapoor has done a great job, it's an Anil Kapoor and Maniesh Paul show all the way. Anil and Maniesh banters were the most fun part of the movie and had guaranteed laughs going among the audiences.
While the movie has evenly distributed comical and emotional scenes throughout the narrative, but the last 30 minutes ride high on emotions which includes romance and heartbreaks which leaves you satisfied with the end product.
The fight scene between Varun and Kiara in the 2nd half is one of the most well written, directed, and acted scenes in this whole movie.
I think Raj Mehta handled the topic of divorce, male ego, love & compromise in marriage really well and it's actually thought-provoking for the audiences.
