Even though it doesn't compete with the first two movies, I think it's a good addition to the Quiet Place universe. The New York setting was a fun idea.
I think halfway through the movie I started losing a bit of interest. I didn't care much about the characters and it wasn't nearly as tense as the previous movies.
awful. just awful. the worst. our introduction to the main character is her being obnoxious and reading a shitty poem. no connection there whatsoever. we lose a side character and a new one comes along and they hit a connection from nothing. the dialogue really sucked and the attempt at deeper connection felt forced. in the first 2 movies, you couldn't walk barefoot on a leaf without the aliens snatching you in an instant but apparently now you can run and hit cars , alarams blaring, and the monsters are confused?? this was a total shitshow. oh yeah, and we ended with another shitty poem. great job

It's funny how it is set in New York City yet the story still feels very contained and we still no nothing more about the death angels than we did before.
