Fui assistir embalado pelo meu desejo pós "Welcome to derry" de consumir mais adaptações dos livros do Stephen King. Já tinha ouvido falar bem do filme, mas me surpreendi em como não foi cansativo estar nessa caminhada por tanto tempo. Alguns momentos são pesados, obviamente tem muita violência, mas no final, você se vê pensando que não quer que aquela caminhada acabe, você não se vê cansado. Normalmente tenho dificuldade para encarar filmes que se apoiam muito em diálogo, esse foi o contrário. Baita filme!

​The Long Walk is a good movie—not great, but definitely worth a watch if you appreciate unique and slightly odd cinema. While the ending is fairly predictable and feels a bit so-so, the unique premise and the tension keep you engaged throughout. It's highly watchable for anyone looking for something outside the mainstream formula.

I wasn't expecting to become so emotionally invested in these characters. A very bleak and depressing film. I left the theater with the heaviest feeling. I'm not sure I like the ending. So much of this film hinges on the bond between Ray and Pete, and both actors are brilliant and had great chemistry together. I look forward to seeing them in future projects.

This was a very good psychological dark thriller that took a very good book which on paper, sounds like a nice movie but hard to adapt because of the premise. It's exactly like Hunger Games but less subtle. It's a comment on the senselessness of a military society making people do what they want against their will and presenting it as an option. It's about normalising violence and other people being made to feel it's normal while it's not. I also loved the themes of masculinity and brotherhood throughout the movie.

There's one winner and no finish line." I thought the premise was pretty unique and fun (and very sad too). I would say up until the very end you had me hooked. Then at the last moment of the movie I wasn't sure what was going on. It almost felt dreamlike so I was left wondering if that was it. That being said, Cooper Hoffman and David Jonsson carried this movie. They made it interesting with just dialogue and walking!
