I oddly liked this a lot. It was a nice change of setting/characters from the first 2 films. Liked the way the plot unfolded.

The new setting and developments within the <i>Alien</i> world are cool but it also kinda gives off the feeling that they ran out of ideas.

Kind of pissed that we went through the whole second movie protecting Newt, only for her to die off-screen in the first 3 minutes of this one. If we couldn't get the actress, then think of a different premise.  How on Earth did the Facehugger get into the cryopod without waking her up? And I thought that once it had "done the deed" it dies? AND how the fuck did Ripley know that thing was a Queen, that image was blurry as fuck?   That ending was a bit dumb too. She cradled it like a baby as she died like the fucking Terminator? Okay  Costume/special effects were good, but the writing made this feel like a comedy.

It was an OK film but didn't hit like the first two.
