Feels like i've seen this movie dozens of times already because this movie doesn't really have anything. If you have seen Velvet Buzzsaw, then you aren't actually missing out on anything. They're almost the same movie with almost the same treatment. The only difference is the twist in the climax which really doesn't work as it's super bland because the 3rd act is rushed like hell !!

TERRIBLE film. Moral of the story... WHITE MAN BAD. Just terrible. If this was reversed it would be called racist.

why did you rate a film, you haven't watched yet?

I was looking forward to this movie... Sadly enough they turned it into a "White people are bad and racist, Kill all white people! Black Lives Matter!!!" movie. Some characters are very unlikeable and the acting is often really bad. Horrible movie and a waste of time.

I thought it was a good reimagining. I really liked the back story of Candyman. And I watched the last line of the movie probably 10 times. Just something about it that I thought was great.
