Hin und her gerissen von dem Film. Er hat einige Szene die absolut wunderhübsch sind und eine Szene die mich so sehr verstört hat, wie schon lange nicht mehr. Diese Parts sind so gut, dass man dem Film vier Sterne und mehr geben möchte. Problematisch ist dann leider der etwas lahme erste Akt und das inkonstante Schauspiel der gesamten Familie. Egal, ich bin froh, dass Richard Stanley zurück ist und uns noch mit mehr Lovecraft Geschichten versorgen wird. Randnotiz: Das Lodderbast Kino…

Now that… that was different. A little bit of confusion but the special effects were top notch and it really gave me that creepy feeling I want out of a horror flick. Nic Cage actually wasn’t the shining star of this which made it even better.

All in all, throughout the whole movie, all I could think of is why Nicolas Cage is imitating Trump when he's going crazy. I'm not pro him at all but it really just ruins the whole atmosphere and from the first moment it happened that was all I could think of, and it just ruined the rest of the movie for me. It added nothing absolutely nothing and just ruined the movie.

This movie was crazy, a good movie adaption of H. P. Lovecraft's story. Worth the watch! 6/10
