A surreal depiction of the primal nature in any society, that is the survival of the fittest. Starts with an intense display of nothing but body language and expressions dictating and expressing so much of the kinda system that's in place. The film goes from a gross display of objectification of models & people to a messy display of abuse of wealth/resource based power. And after a disastrous turn of events, the parallels in all systems only become too evident, especially when the lines of the class slowly start to blur while the new inevitable ones form specifically adapting to the new environment. All of these themes and agendas are well complimented by the film's artistic technical direction with shaky cinematography that triggers sea sickness, to extreme on the nose dialogue with so many fucked up connotations behind every line and expression of the ensemble. Although the film succeeds in depicting this level of worst in humanity and established societies, it could've easily made an even better argument if it was somehow balanced out with a showcase of neutrality from any one of the characters with and in power. Overall, it's a great and fun film that parodies the world's systems in their most raw and ugly form.

fun movie but i wish the island part was more stretched out. felt way too fast and over with as soon as it began. also wish there were more surviving characters on the island. but I liked it !! not as gripping as the florida project or parasite but a fun take on similar themes

Se lo toma con calma pero me ha enganchado desde el principio. Cuando estás metido en su atmósfera cambia todo por completo y parece otra película diferente y cuando te acostumbras vuelve a cambiar totalmente. Es brutal cómo todos los círculos que presenta se van cerrando de una forma y otra. Mi conclusión es que a los ricos hay que matarlos a todos.
