God awful. Literally the worst movie I've seen in the last few years.

Monster Hunter, directed by Paul W.S. Anderson, struggles to convince. Its main flaw lies in a simplistic storyline. Of course, the games barely have one, but this is a movie, which relies solely on its story rather than gameplay. Instead, we are introduced to a military unit, wasting 15 minutes presenting the characters before they are thrown into another world through a portal. Character development is almost nonexistent, and the dialogue often makes it difficult to truly connect with the protagonists, especially since a common language is absent for three-quarters of the film. It would have been better to focus solely on characters native to this world. Moreover, the action scenes suffer from poor readability, worsened by the fact that the special effects lack detail and texture. Monster Hunter: World likely does a better job with its monster assets. The soundtrack, meanwhile, is generic and forgettable. This is a fast-food movie: quickly watched, quickly forgotten.

This was the worst movie I haven ever enjoyed 😂 No story, no logic It's called Monster Hunter, after the game, but it shows, like, three monsters and a couple of spiders, and has nothing to do with any of the games 😂😂😂 It's one of those terrible movies you watch just to laugh at its stupidity

Some people are saying it was a bad movie! WTH is wrong with you it was so exciting I never felt boredom watching it not even once, and I enjoyed these two's friendship. I would love to see a part two especially that they never explained the story behind her ring and the Hunter's memories, I'd love to see everyone's story
