Written by Tarantino? Bro, the whole movie looks like it was ghost directed by Tarantino. It has the whole Tarantino template frame by frame, especially that climax, in a good way obviously.

Wow - what a ride, in true Tarantino style! Loved all the cameos, and Brad Pitt's character was hilarious!

Obviously the movie is fantastic, but that’s not why I’m typing this out: Wife and I will never forgive ourselves for not being Clarence and Alabama for Halloween before Travis Barker and the Kardashian he’s married to. You can’t listen to Zimmer’s “You’re So Cool” and not smile. It’s impossible.

[8.5/10] I’d had _True Romance_ recommended to me multiple times, so I figured Valentine’s Day was the perfect excuse to finally watch it. I checked it out from the library just for the occasion. I was hooked basically from the start—the characters and writing were so much fun. I’m a Tarantino fan, but I actually enjoyed this more than most of the films he directed. It absolutely felt like his writing, but the director brought a totally different vibe. Actually, I thought it felt more confident and cohesive. The only really odd thing about it was the music. I’ve liked plenty of Hans Zimmer’s scores over the years, but I would be surprised if this one has not been a point of debate. Any time there was a lighter moment on screen, he'd throw in something with that unmistakable ‘90s island beach vibe, which felt so silly considering the setting and the story. It actually detracted from those scenes. Patricia Arquette was my favorite part of the film, but there was a lot to love. Some moments started to feel a little tiresome, but overall, I seriously enjoyed it. I’ve already recommended it to someone, and I’ll be happy to watch it again the next chance I get.
