Christmas movies are not my genre, especially shit, cheesy ones, and in normal circumstances I definitely would NOT watch this even with Jack Bauer.. So WHY tf did I put this on at Christmas you might be thinking?? It's filmed in my beautiful home town of KNARESBOROUGH, located in North Yorkshire. I haven't been back since the last of my clan died 6 years ago and wanted to have a glimpse of the scenic town and spot by the castle ruins looking down at the River Nidd where I used to have a cheeky smoke in my teens 🤣 Please go and visit if you are ever in the UK, it's gorgeous. Its 25 mins on the train from the city of York which is another must visit, with its Roman AND Viking influence. The cafes, boat house and ice cream shop by the riverside in the pic below used to be run by my grandparents in the early 80's. Its brought back lots of sentimental memories of my family and history. 🎄✨️ Merry Christmas everyone! ✨️🎄
