I like the ration girl, the brown-haired one with brown eyes. Kajika, I think that's her name. She reminds me of Belldandy from the _Oh! My Goddess_ (1993) series and Chie from the last episode of _Golden Boy_ (1995). We start to settle down in this episode and get a little sentimental backstory of Ikoma. But then suddenly, something goes wrong when the Kabaneri becomes.. hungry! It's a difficult situation to be in. In comparison, I don't think they ventured this far in concept with _Attack on Titan_ so perhaps they considered adding this bit of writing to further experiment with this series instead. It'd be interesting to see how this will be handled later on. Let's go, episode 4!
