This is the episode that would definitely hook you in to the series. I really liked the directing style and added emotion in this origin story. That fight scene at the end shot in a smooth one-take style is the kind you'd see in certain smart action movies like The Raid. Foggy's dialogue offers the comic relief in contrast to the intense action.

That last scene though... I have to emphasis on how realistic it was. I was like no he can't, he's too tired but then he pushes through. Awesome.

This show has amazing fight scenes so far. Amazing and super realistic, as it should. Amazing work. Loving this show already! First episode had great fight scenes this episode had the same, I can't wait to watch the remaining episodes!!! Love all the main actors so far...

That final fight scene was better than all the fight scenes in Arrow.
