When the club owner Otto Hübner is found shot, Inspector Bibi Fellner has to drive to the crime scene without her partner. Moritz Eisner, who celebrated his 60th birthday the evening before, is sleeping off his intoxication. As soon as he gets back to work, Hübner's business partner shoots the inspector.
