I watched the first episode out of curiosity, ended up binging the whole thing. There are some clichés, but most of the cheap story beats I've seen coming from a mile away didn't come at all, characters are actually smart, and the setup feels solid with no easy answers that just push the story forward. It is kinda man against world (even tho he has some help), up to a point of taking on a whole squad of trained combatants, but that's acceptable in this kind of TV. If you have a free weekend, then I can recommend this as a good TV to binge. It works as a single story with no cliffhangers which is rare, but there is an open ending - it's based on the first book in the series that currently has 5, and Pratt himself also said that it'd be cool to continue the series.
