Margaret Qualley; a true talent that makes GREAT content

Ep1: One person to clean THAT house in a few hours? She's Superwoman!! Then ... why have a window open with a kid in the car and belting down the freeway? Why do you park your car on the side like that ... derrr. Oh ... and the script is very weak and the acting bland. Not sure I'll make it to Ep 2.

Genuinely - I expected a lot more based on all the reviews I read. Gotta say I'm disappointed.. I watched 6 full episodes and all of them were so goddamn boring...

👉🏻La nueva ola de estrenos de Netflix parece que se puso las pilas en este último tiempo. No teníamos demasiado de calidad para ver pero en el caso de Maid el paradigma se rompe, no solo te trae una porción de una dura realidad, más común y habitual de lo que uno cree, sino que también se evidencia un vínculo muy sincero entre sus protagonistas. 👉🏻La conexión de quién hace de Alex con esa pequeña risueña ( su hija) es absolutamente natural y sentido. Esto hace que sientas que en verdad estas dentro de la historia de ambas. 👉🏻Muestra un lado sensible y sentido sobre la violencia doméstica pero también los desequilibrios de una familia disfuncional. 👉🏻Está basada en un caso real. 👉🏻Una denuncia a la burocracia en este caso de los Estados Unidos pero no se aleja de cualquier realidad en otro país. 👉🏻Las actuaciones son muy buenas y creo que puedo arriesgarme a decir que por primera vez me gusta la actuación Andie Macdowell, y que esta podría ser su mejor interpretación. Tal vez ayuda que haga de madre de su hija en la vida real, pero tiene un personaje que muestra la otra cara del sufrimiento y pesar de Alex. 👉🏻No recae en el drama desgarrador, pero si demuestra un duelo sentido desde lo interpretativo... Incluso hasta por momentos sentí la necesidad de gritar reacciona de una P.... Vez. 👉🏻Deja una enseñanza o una esperanza a ver una pequeña luz aún cuando parece que uno es parte absoluta de la oscuridad, Una historia de lucha y sacrificio. El abuso no te define. Ya la viste ? This show helped me to see that I've been a victim of gaslighting for many years and it is largely responsible for my choice to look for help. I felt fear while watching it because I knew that if anyone in my family knew that I was watching something like this they would be VERY unhappy about it. I watched it in secret, refused to tell anyone the name of what show I was watching, paused whenever anyone entered the room, and tried to only watch while I was alone. I cried many times. I felt seen. I realized for the first time that what I've experienced is real abuse and it's not all in my head, and that there are people and organizations who would want to help someone like me. It's been a few months since I finished the series, but I still remember the line "you should be mad" every time I start to blame myself for the things that have happened. I cannot thank the producers of this show enough for making such an educational, life changing work of art.
