Madeleine studied dance at the Baardar Academy in her hometown, Oslo. After gaining her degree she worked as a freelance dancer, doing commercial work as well as projects with the choreographer-duo Flukt. She then spent a year as an apprentice dancer with Hofesh Shechter Company in London and shortly after started working with Gecko.
